FairPrice Xtra at Sports Hub, now known as The Kallang, will be closing permanently from Apr. 20, 2026.
In an email to customers, the supermarket said it will operate at the outlet until Apr. 19.
To mark the closure, it is giving away S$5 vouchers at the outlet.
Mothership understands these return voucher leaflets are distributed in-store by staff, for shoppers to use in other selected FairPrice or Xtra stores.

A Mothership reader said he was told that an NTUC Finest might be opening there, but might not take up the whole area.
Fairprice Group statement
In response to queries by Mothership, a Fairprice Group spokesperson confirmed the closure.
"It has been a privilege to serve the Kallang community and share in the energy of the precinct’s iconic concerts and sporting events. To align with the upcoming transformation of The Kallang, we look forward to introducing a FairPrice Finest at this location, offering a curated, elevated shopping experience in the near future.
In the interim, shoppers can visit FairPrice stores nearby for their daily essentials. To thank our members and shoppers for their support, we have prepared exclusive promotions, including return vouchers, for use at eligible stores on their next visit."
Sports Hub rebrand to The Kallang
The Singapore Sports Hub started operating under a new name, The Kallang, on Nov. 28, 2025.
During the announcement, it was also announced that The Kallang will undergo enhancement works in phases from the second quarter of 2026.
The revitalised mall is slated for completion in 2028, a previous press release stated.
The mall will remain operational throughout the works.
