4 taken to hospital after collision involving taxi, minibus & 2 cars on TPE towards PIE
Police investigations are ongoing.
Four people were taken to hospital following a multi-vehicle collision along the Tampines Expressway (TPE) towards the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on Apr. 22.
In a statement, the police said they were alerted to the collision at about 3.25pm, involving two cars, one taxi and one minibus.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was also alerted to the collision at about 3.25pm.
A 54-year-old female car passenger, a 20-year-old male car passenger and a 57-year-old male taxi driver were taken conscious to hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Debris seen scattered across expressway after collision
Videos circulating online showed debris scattered across multiple lanes of the expressway following the collision.
Several vehicles were seen stopped along the roadside shoulder, while emergency responders and at least one ambulance were present at the scene.
