Japanese restaurant Misato at The Centrepoint to close in April
"To all of you who have supported us all these years, we are truly thankful."
Japanese eatery Misato, located at The Centrepoint, will be closing sometime in April 2026.
The eatery announced the news in a video posted on Instagram on Mar. 9.
In the video, founder Tony Young said the closure was due to redevelopment plans at the mall.
Young also encouraged customers to visit before the restaurant shuts its doors.
"To all of you who have supported us all these years, we are truly thankful."
However, the closure may not be permanent.
Responding to comments from fans expressing disappointment and asking if the restaurant would reopen elsewhere, the eatery hinted at future plans, writing: "Look out for another reel soon!"
