Lorry & taxi accident in Bendemeer: Man, 53, arrested for drink-driving

A man was arrested for drink-driving following an accident in Bendemeer on Mar. 15.
Photos of the aftermath of the incident were posted in the Complaint Singapore Facebook group.
In the photos, a police officer could be seen speaking with a man seated on a bench near the scene.
The accident appeared to involve a lorry and a taxi.

Investigations ongoing
In response to Mothership's queries, police confirmed they were were alerted to an accident involving a lorry and a taxi along Bendemeer Road towards Jalan Besar at around 1:55pm on Sunday.
They subsequently arrested a 53-year-old male lorry driver for drink-driving.
No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
