S’pore man, 36, arrested for suspected involvement in 8 bicycle & PMD theft cases at Yishun

A 36-year-old man has been arrested for his suspected involvement in a series of eight theft cases involving bicycles and personal mobility devices (PMDs).
According to a police news release on Mar. 25, the incidents were reported across multiple locations in Yishun, occurring between December 2025 and March 2026.
Through follow-up investigations, along with images from police cameras and CCTV footage, officers from the Woodlands Police Division were able to identify the suspect and arrest him on Wednesday.

The man is scheduled to be charged in court on Mar. 26 for theft under Section 379 of the Penal Code 1871.
If convicted, he faces a jail term of up to three years, a fine, or both.
The police reiterated their zero-tolerance stance against such criminal acts, adding that they will "spare no effort" in apprehending offenders and ensuring they are dealt with in accordance with the law.
