S'pore Airlines & Scoot cancel flights amid US-Israel conflict with Iran
Meanwhile, Singapore embassies in the Middle East urged Singaporeans to stay indoors until the danger has passed.
Singapore Airlines (SIA) has cancelled six SIA and Scoot flights on Feb. 28 and Mar. 1 amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
These include four SIA flights between Singapore and Dubai, and two Scoot flights between Singapore and Jeddah.
“We will continue to monitor the situation in the Middle East closely and will adjust our flight paths as needed,” said SIA in a statement in response to Mothership's queries.
Customers may update their contact details via the "Manage Booking" function on the SIA and Scoot websites, or subscribe to the mobile notification service, to receive updates on their flights.

Missile strikes in Middle East
On Feb. 28, Israel said it had launched a "pre-emptive strike" against Iran.
Trump later confirmed that that the U.S. had begun "major combat operations" there, saying they would "destroy [Iran's] missiles... [and] annihilate their army".
In response, Iran launched an unprecedented attack across the Middle East, with missile strikes in Israel, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, and Kuwait, reported CNN.
Four U.S. bases in the Middle East were targeted, with blasts heard from Dubai to Doha.
At least one person has been killed after the UAE intercepted Iranian missiles, according to its state news agency.
In the meantime, explosions have also been heard in multiple Iranian cities, including in the capital Tehran.
Iran has vowed a "crushing response", and said it would not "surrender to their petty demands through such cowardly actions", according to BBC.
