Mayweather vs Pacquiao on Sep. 19, 2026 to be streamed live on Netflix
Both fighters are expected to earn millions.
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will fight on Sep. 19, 2026 in Las Vegas.
The bout will be streamed live on Netflix.
It is touted as a rematch of one of the biggest fights in boxing history.
This comes 11 years after their first fight in 2015, which occurred when both fighters were already past their peaks.
Mayweather, who won on points in that fight, will be 49 by the next bout, while Pacquiao will be 47.
Preserving 50-0 streak
Mayweather’s last professional fight came in 2017, which preserved his 50-0 — zero losses — streak.
It was an exhibition match against UFC star Conor McGregor.
On the other hand, Pacquiao last fought for the WBC welterweight championship in 2025, which ended in a 12-round majority draw.
Publicity
On Feb. 24, both boxers hyped up their next meeting.
“Floyd and I gave the world what remains the biggest fight in boxing history,” said Pacquiao.
“The fans have waited long enough – they deserve this rematch, and it will be even bigger now that it will be streamed live globally on Netflix. I want Floyd to live with the one loss on his professional record and always remember who gave it to him. As always, I dedicate this fight to my fellow Filipinos around the world and to bringing glory to the Philippines,” he continued.
Mayweather, who provided a more direct statement, said: “I already fought and beat Manny once. This time will be the same result.”
Netflix live sports broadcasts
Both fighters are expected to earn tens of millions of dollars from their upcoming bout.
Previously, Netflix broadcast the Jake Paul v Mike Tyson fight live in 2024 and attracted 108 million global viewers.
It became the most-streamed sporting event in history.
