Man, 44, arrested for drink-driving: Car swerves from CTE 2nd lane to 5th lane, hits another car
At 3:55am.
A 44-year-old man was arrested for drink-driving following an accident involving two cars and a taxi along the Central Expressway (CTE) towards the Seletar Expressway (SLE) before Moulmein road exit in the early hours of Dec. 7.
A video of the collision was shared to the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page.
Collisions
In the video, a dark coloured car was seen swerving from the second right-most lane to the left-most fifth lane before colliding into a white car.

The white car then veered right across all lanes to hit the road divider next to the right-most lane.

A vehicle then collided with the white car and the road divider, causing damage to its front bumper.
Taken to hospital
In response to Mothership's queries, the police confirmed that they were alerted to the road traffic accident at around 3:55am.
A 65-year-old male taxi driver, his 42-year-old male passenger and another 33-year-old female car passenger were conveyed conscious to the hospital.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they conveyed two people to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
However, the third person was assessed for minor injuries and declined to be sent to the hospital.
Following the accident, the 44-year-old male car driver was arrested for drink-driving.
Police investigations are ongoing.
