4-woman brawl breaks out at Tekka Centre, police cars show up
Vendors said they have previously witnessed disputes and fights over the weekend.
At least four women were involved in a fight at a crowded pedestrian walkway outside Tekka Centre in Little India, on the afternoon of Nov. 2.
This reportedly resulted in police vehicles being called to the scene.
Fight
A video shared to social media on Nov. 4 showed two women trying to help a woman in a white shirt who was lying on the ground.
A woman in a red shirt and jeans then rushed over, pushed them away and started pulling the fallen woman's hair.

Soon after, another woman in a red tank top and green skirt came over and dragged away the woman in a red shirt by her hair.
She was helped by a woman in a white striped tank top.

Other persons from the gathered crowd then broke up the fight by separating the women.
The exact reason for the fight is unclear.
Police are looking into the matter
Vendors interviewed by Shin Min Daily News said the fight broke out at around 6pm on Nov. 2 at a pedestrian walkway along Bukit Timah Road, outside Tekka Centre.
One vendor said he had seen several women drinking beer at Tekka Centre that day as he was packing up his stall.
He said he did not know how the fight started, but later heard that multiple police cars arrived at the scene.
Other vendors told Shin Min that they have previously witnessed disputes and fights there, especially over the weekend.
On a number of these occasions, the police would be involved, they said.
Police told Mothership that a report was lodged and they are looking into the matter.
