M'sian man stranded in Hat Yai floods gets caught in affair by wife's friend who helped to rescue him

A Malaysian man was caught red-handed having an affair by his wife's friend during an attempt to evacuate him from severe floods in Hat Yai, Thailand.

The man's wife was under the impression her husband was stranded in a hotel with three other male colleagues.

The husband hid the fact that he was staying with another woman at the same hotel, and had introduced her as his "wife".

Rescue efforts

The woman, who uncovered the affair, who goes by the username psmommyhannah on Threads, said she received a request by the man's wife, who is her former university classmate.

The wife wanted her friend to check on her husband upon her return to Malaysia from Thailand.

The woman, who has a Thai cousin, had initially made a trip to Hat Yai from Bangkok during her Thailand trip, but was forced to return home due to the floods.

She agreed to the request and asked her cousin to check on the hotel the man was staying at, with an initial plan to relocate him to a safer location.

Upon arrival, hotel staff confirmed that four Malaysian men were staying in the hotel because their vehicles were trapped in the floods.

However, the hotel receptionist also revealed that the man in question had also been staying with a woman for four days, whom he had introduced as his wife.

Wife just had her fourth child

The affair has not yet been revealed to the man's wife, the friend said, according to Says.

She is said to still be in her confinement period after giving birth to her fourth child.

In her post on Threads, the friend made a plea to the general public to think about their families before doing anything.

"Men, have mercy on your children and wives at home," she wrote.
