M'sia driver, 31, dies after crashing into lorry in Johor road accident
The other passenger in the same car survived.
A 31-year-old insurance agent was killed after the four-wheel drive he was driving was involved in a collision with a lorry along Jalan Ayer Hitam, Johor, on Nov. 11.
The accident
The victim, identified as Mohamad Salrizal Rohani according to Sinar Harian, was driving a four-wheel drive when the crash occurred at around 10:20am, according to the Kluang district police.

Police said investigations revealed that a lorry, ridden by another 31-year-old man, had stopped to make a right turn towards a junction when the Salrizal's four-wheel drive vehicle lost control and crashed into the rear left side of the lorry.
The impact left him trapped in the driver’s seat.
The Ayer Hitam Fire and Rescue Station received an emergency call about the accident at 9:44 am, said the operations commander fire superintendent, as quoted by The Malaysia Gazette.
The rescue
A team of six firefighters, assisted by a Fire Rescue Tender and a utility vehicle, was dispatched to the scene which was located around nine kilometres from the station.
Using special rescue equipment, the team managed to extricate the victim, but he was later pronounced dead by medical officers on site.
Another adult male who was in the same vehicle, however, survived the crash.
The Kluang district police chief added in a press release statement:
"As a result of the accident, the driver of the four-wheel drive suffered serious injuries to the head and body and died at the scene, while the lorry driver escaped unharmed."
Further investigation
Initial information indicates that Salrizal, who was from a village in Kluang, had been travelling from there towards Johor when the accident occurred.
The fire and rescue operation concluded at 10:58 am, authorities said.
The victim’s remains were handed over to police for further investigation.
