Van hits shelter pillar in Punggol, woman, 45, assisting with investigations

A van, believed to have skidded, ended up crashing downslope into a pedestrian walkway shelter pillar along Punggol Road towards Punggol Nort Avenue.

The police said they were alerted to the incident on Nov. 9 at 3:30pm.

Fluid could be seen emerging from the van's bonnet which was damaged, while the shelter pillar did not appear dented.

No injuries were reported.

A 45-year old woman is assisting with investigations.

Police investigations are ongoing.
