2 girls fight at void deck, woman intervenes & smacks girl in dominant ground & pound position

Two girls were filmed fighting at the void deck of a Housing and Development Board (HDB) block and a woman intervened to put an end to the exchange.

What video showed

In a video shared to the SgFollowsAll Telegram channel, a group of four girls appeared to be arguing at the void deck.

Another person was filming.

Two of the four girls, both dressed in black oversized t-shirts, then engaged in a brief verbal exchange before escalating matters as they got physical with each other.

The girl who got smacked then took the other girl down to the ground and sat on her chest before pinning her hands and continuing to hit her from a dominant ground and pound position.

However, the brawl was interrupted when a passerby stepped in.

Intervention

A woman in white carrying a backpack shouted at the girls to get their attention before walking over to the girl who had mounted the other girl and smacked her on the head twice.

The woman asked the girl in Mandarin if she was bullying others.

The girl who was struck replied that the other girl "bullied her first".

The video cut off abruptly.

Responses

The video, which has been circulated online, saw commenters praise the passerby for stepping in to discipline the children.

Others commented that such exchanges appear to have become more commonplace, regardless of the gender of those involved.
