Elderly man on train in China sits on woman's lap, rubs against her

An elderly man in Shanghai, China sat on a woman's lap after boarding the train and refused to get up.
He was also seen smiling as he rubbed himself against the woman.
Sin Chew Daily reported that the incident, which has been circulating online, occurred on Oct. 28.
Sat on woman
In the video, the elderly man could be seen already sitting on the woman.
China Times reported that the incident took place on a train on Shanghai Metro Line 9.
After the elderly man boarded the train, many passengers were said to have offered him their seats.
However, he refused and sat on the young woman.
Refused to get up
The woman could be seen trying to push the elderly man away.
Another man seated next to the woman also attempted to shove the elderly man away.
He also threatened to step on the elderly man.
The elderly man continued smiling and refused to budge from the woman's lap.
Called police
With no other solution, the woman called the police, Liberty Times reported.
The woman told police she was in the fourth carriage of a train reaching Qibao Station.
In light of the incident, online commenters said the man's actions were "blatant molestation".
Others said he appeared to want to only sit on one particular seat on the train.
