British-Ukrainian creator Max Klymenko, known globally for his viral TikTok series "Career Ladder", recently made a stop in Singapore and wasted no time bringing his trademark ladder and guessing game to some of the city's most iconic landmarks.

Klymenko was spotted filming at various locations in Singapore, including the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, the Merlion, as well as the colourful shophouses at Joo Chiat.

News of him being in Singapore spread quickly, sparking excitement among local fans, with some taking to social media to share their encounters with him.

Here's the lowdown on some of the familiar faces Klymenko crossed paths with:

At one point, Klymenko could be heard asking Tan if he was the "Singaporean swimmer who won a gold medal", drawing laughter from Tan and the crowd.

Tan, amused, replied, "Do I look like a swimmer?"

Streamer Denise Teo

Popular local content creator and streamer Denise Teo, known online as @supercatkei, also took part in the challenge.

In the official interview video uploaded by Klymenko, Teo offered him "the best Singaporean gift" if he could guess her occupation.

Before she even reached the top of the ladder, Klymenko confidently shouted, "Streamer!", correctly identifying Teo's job.

Teo's "gift", however, turned out to be a humourous twist on Klymenko's opening jingle:

"Hope you don't have to kiss your mother, because you're gonna have to eat a durian platter."

The pair then shared a durian together, with Teo revealing that it was her first time trying the fruit as well.

While Teo winced at the taste, Klymenko initially gagged but soon went in for a second bite, saying he could "understand why people eat it".

Cakeinspiration bakers

Cakeinspiration, a local bakery located in Joo Chiat, celebrated Klymenko's visit with a custom-made Career Ladder-themed cake.

The cake featured local details such as the Merlion, Supertrees, and kaya toast, topped with a miniature ladder and the show's logo.

In a video posted by the bakery, Klymenko joked that the cake was "so bad" before laughing and admitting, "No, I'm kidding! It's amazing!"

Sticker artist Dylan

Local sticker artist Dylan, known as @dchtoons on Instagram, was another Singaporean featured on Career Ladder.

He approached Klymenko and hinted that he "creates something that fits in your pocket", piquing Klymenko's interest, who then invited him onto the ladder.

Despite multiple guesses, Klymenko couldn't identify Dylan's job.

At the end of the video, Dylan revealed his job as a sticker artist and gifted Klymenko a set of his stickers, which Klymenko later used to decorate his ladder.

Entreprenuer Rayston Heem

Entrepreneur Rayston Heem also joined the challenge, revealing during his interaction that he "made a million dollars in six months".

The clip ended before Klymenko could reveal his guess, and it’s unclear if the full interaction will be released.
