Went back to get baby milk

The man's wife recounted what happened in a Threads post.

She wrote that on Nov. 5, her husband asked her to make him a fried squid with turmeric dish for dinner.

So she cooked dinner and was waiting for him to return home from work. However, he did not make it home.

The woman said she found out that her husband had left work early, but subsequently went back to the office after realising he had left their 10-month-old baby's milk there.

While on the roads, he reportedly got into a fatal accident with a lorry.

"My husband died at the scene. His face and belongings were covered in spilled milk. Thank God that despite the accident, he looked perfect, like he was sleeping," the woman wrote.

She added that she and her husband had taken their child to the clinic the day before, but did not expect that to be their last day together as a family.

The accident

Kuala Lumpur (KL) traffic police assistant commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa told Harian Metro that the accident occurred at about 8:20pm along a road from Kepong to Batu Caves in Selangor.

The victim's motorcycle is believed to have hit the rear axle of a lorry that stopped on the left road shoulder due to mechanical problems, said Mohd Zamzuri.

The 28-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased's body has been sent to a hospital in KL.

The 39-year-old lorry driver was uninjured.

Police are investigating the accident for causing death by careless or dangerous driving, said Mohd Zamzuri as quoted by Harian Metro.

He also advised road users to ensure their vehicles are in good condition before starting their journey and to avoid stopping on routes that could endanger other road users.
