Body of Thai woman, 49, found dumped in canal, allegedly after affair exposed
Investigations are ongoing.
The body of a Thai woman was found floating in a canal in central Thailand after she was allegedly killed and dumped into the water.
A local fisherman discovered the body at around 6:30am on Nov. 5 and called the police.
The body was later identified as 49-year-old Chan.
Police are still searching for the suspects involved in her murder.

Body was tied to a concrete pillar
According to Thaiger, the fisherman was on his daily route when he noticed the woman's body in the water.
Officers described her as being clad in a lace blouse and shorts, with electrical wire tied to her body.
A concrete pillar, cast onto a PVC pipe, weighed her body down.

The woman is believed to have been dead for at least three days before she was found.
Although no identification documents were present on her body, she was identified through a missing person report filed by her son.
She'd gone missing from her home in Samut Sakhon on Nov. 2.
Adultery as a possible motive
The victim's son, identified only as O, told police that his mother was a divorcee who ran a coffee shop and dealt in land mortgages.

She had been romantically involved with a married man in Nakhon Pathom.
But the man's wife reportedly uncovered the affair, which police suspect may have led to Chan's alleged murder.
Investigations are ongoing.
