A cash payment of between S$100 and S$600 will be given out to some three million adult Singaporeans from Dec. 5, 2025, as part of the enhanced Assurance Package announced in Budget 2023.

Those eligible are aged 21 and above in 2026.

Information on the eligibility for the payout can be found at govbenefits.gov.sg.

The sum dispensed depends on the assessable income and the number of properties owned by the recipient.

Those who link their NRIC to PayNow by Nov. 23 will receive the payouts first by Dec. 5.

Payouts by Giro will be disbursed by Dec. 16.

Payouts via GovCash will be done on Dec. 22.

About package

The Ministry of Finance (MOF) said in a Nov. 7 statement that the Assurance Package cash payments "help defray" the expenses of Singaporean households and provide more support for lower- to middle-income families.

It was announced during Budget 2023 that the Assurance Package will see a S$3 billion top-up to bring the total amount eventually disbursed to S$9.6 billion.

More than S$10 billion in cash payouts, MediSave top-ups and CDC vouchers, as well as additional U-Save and service and conservancy charges rebates for households, are provided with further enhancements to the package.
