Body of man, 69, recovered from waters near Esplanade Bridge, police investigations ongoing
Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.
The body of a 69-year-old man was found floating in the waters along Queen Elizabeth Walk, near Esplanade Bridge on Nov. 13.
In response to queries from Mothership, the police confirmed that they received a call for assistance at around 9am on Thursday.
The body was subsequently retrieved form the waters and the man was pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic.
Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.
Investigations are ongoing.
