S'pore Grand Prix 2025: Mercedes' George Russell takes pole position
Max Verstappen in second position.
George Russell will take pole position for this year's Singapore Grand Prix.
This comes after a rocky start for the Mercedes driver, who crashed during the second practice session in Singapore on Oct. 3. After the accident, he apologised to his team and admitted that he wasn't "too sure what happened".
Russell came in with a timing of 1:29.158, which is almost two-tenths clear of Max Verstappen, who will be starting from second position.
This is the first time Russell is taking pole position in Singapore.
