E-bike & pedestrian accident at Hougang St 51: Woman, 88, dies, man, 49, assisting with police investigations
An appeal for eyewitnesses was put up online.

An 88-year-old woman died on Sep. 30 following an accident involving a power-assisted bicycle (PAB) near Block 693 Hougang Street 51 on Sep. 29.
A 49-year-old man is assisting with investigations, the police said.
An appeal for eyewitnesses was posted on the Singapore Roads Accident Facebook page on Oct. 1.
The appeal described the incident as a "hit and run" and the victim supposedly sustained "massive brain damage".
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call for assistance at about 7:55am on Monday at Hougang Street 51.
The incident occurred in the direction of Hougang Street 91, the police said.
The police said the pedestrian was unconscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
She died a day later in the hospital.
