Looks like sweater weather is here for the next two weeks.
Thundery showers are expected over parts of the island in the late morning and afternoon on most days, said the Meteorological Service Singapore on Oct. 1.
There may also be widespread thundery showers and gusty winds on one or two mornings due to Sumatra squalls.
The total rainfall for the first half of October 2025 is forecast to be near average over most parts of the island.
The daily maximum temperatures are likely to range between 32°C and 34°C on most days and slightly exceed 34°C on a few days.
Pulau Ubin and Admiralty recorded highest daily temperature in second half of September
In the second half of September 2025, parts of the island saw localised short-duration thundery showers on several days.
On Sep. 28, regional convergence of winds brought moderate to heavy thundery showers over many areas of Singapore in the afternoon and evening.
The daily total rainfall at Pasir Ris that day hit 59.4mm, the highest rainfall recorded for the second half of the month.
The daily maximum temperatures were above 33°C on most days.
Both Pulau Ubin and Admiralty recorded the highest daily maximum temperature of 34.6°C on Sep. 23 and Sep. 27 respectively.
The country recorded well below average rainfall in the second half of September 2025, with Jurong West registering rainfall of about 94 per cent below average.
