Woman in pink hoodie seen kicking woman at SMU campus, police investigating

The police said two women, aged 21 and 61, are assisting in investigations.

A woman in a pink hoodie was seen kicking an older woman lying on the ground, a 22-second video posted online showed.

The police told Mothership that two women, aged 21 and 61, are assisting in investigations following an incident at the Singapore Management University (SMU) on Sep. 30.

Police investigations are ongoing.

What video showed

Some of those at the scene went to assist the older woman.

Some of the bystanders could be heard on camera sounding concerned and saying that the older woman has fainted and to “call campus security”.

The older woman was referred to as a “housekeeper lady”.

It was not known what led to the alleged altercation.

The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they received calls for assistance at 40 Stamford Road at about 2:10pm.

Two women, are assisting with investigations for voluntarily causing hurt and using criminal force, the police said.

A 61-year-old woman was conscious when taken to Raffles Hospital.

Mothership has reached out to SMU for comment.
