Chomp Chomp Food Centre to close for renovation from Oct. 27, 2025 - Jan. 26, 2026
The hawker centre last closed for a renovation in 2017.
Chomp Chomp Food Centre will be closed for a renovation for three months from Monday (Oct. 27) onwards.
According to an update by the National Environment Agency (NEA), the popular hawker centre at Serangoon Gardens will be closed from Oct. 27, 2025, to Jan. 26, 2026 for repairs and redecoration.
The temporary closure is part of NEA’s ongoing maintenance and upgrading programme for hawker centres across Singapore.
The hawker centre was last closed for a renovation in 2017.

Chomp Chomp Food Centre
Opened in 1972, Chomp Chomp Food Centre has long been associated with Singapore’s supper culture.
The centre is best known for its extensive menu, featuring dishes such as satay, BBQ chicken wings, and sugarcane juice.
