Boy in China kneels in middle of traffic, begs drivers to save unconscious mother after car accident
The mother has recovered.
A boy in Guangdong, China, knelt in a tunnel, pleading with people to help his injured mother following a rear-end collision accident.
8world reported that, according to Chinese news outlets, the incident took place on Oct. 4.
The accident reportedly occurred in a tunnel in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong province.
Plead for help
According to video footage, cars appeared to be continuously moving in the tunnel when a dark-coloured car stopped in the middle of the road.
The boy then opened the car door and knelt on the ground, begging for help.

8world reported that this is because the car he was in was severely damaged in the accident, which left his mother injured.
According to TVB, the mother had been knocked unconscious after the accident.
There were reportedly two other girls, believed to be the woman's other children, in the car as well.
Sent to hospital
Drivers in the tunnel soon stopped their cars after they saw the boy asking for help.

They brought the children aside and helped the boy's mother out of the car.

To prevent another accident from occurring, the car drivers acted quickly.
Within three to four minutes, they called the police and sent the boy's mother to the hospital in a different car.
In an interview with the mother after she regained consciousness and had watched the footage.
She said she had no memory of the accident and that she had cried after watching the footage. She said she had no idea her son loved her that much. When she asked him if he was scared, the boy replied that he was most frightened of losing her.
