Trigger warning: The following article contains descriptions of sexual abuse.

A 54-year-old American man in Singapore met a Filipino foreign domestic worker through the Tinder dating app and began an intense sexual relationship with her.

Their online conversations involved discussing having a threesome with their future children or having sex with puppies.

It culminated with the woman finally egging him to repeatedly rape his 11-year-old daughter from his previous marriage.

The man and woman were eventually caught and were sentenced on Oct. 27 to 24 and 22 years' in prison, respectively, reported Shin Min Daily News and CNA.

The man pleaded guilty to three charges of statutory rape while in an exploitative relationship and one count of perverting justice.

A total of 12 other charges were taken into consideration during sentencing.

The man cannot be named due to a gag order to protect the identity of the victim.

Meanwhile, Albao Shiela Marie Ibales, 33, admitted to three charges of abetting rape, with another 11 charges taken into consideration.

Met on Tinder

In early 2022, the man met Shiela on Tinder and soon began dating her.

They often had explicit conversations about their sexual fantasies online, including about having sex with their future children and pets.

He introduced her to his daughter, and he told his child not to tell anyone about the relationship between him and Shiela.

Having separated from his wife in 2019, the daughter would only sleep over at his house on the weekends.

Tricked daughter to touch him

On Mar. 17, 2023, the victim had gone over to spend the night at the man's house.

It was on that day that Shiela asked the man to send her a photo of the victim engaging in a sexual act with him and even advised him on how to get her to comply.

The man decided to trick his daughter by promising her money through a series of "bets" involving her touching him in various areas and performing sexual acts.

He filmed these acts and sent them to Shiela, who responded saying, "Amazing!"

He eventually raped the girl, following encouragement by Shiela.

At one point, Shiela was not satisfied with the angle of the video and asked the man to shoot another, as his face was not visible.

The man later warned his daughter to keep it a secret, as he would get into trouble.

Victim left traumatised

The victim later realised during a sex education class at school that what her father had done to her was wrong.

She finally broke her silence two months later on May 4, and told her teacher about what happened.

The police were called and a plan to arrest the man without alerting him was hatched.

On May 5, the man was summoned to the KK Women's and Children's Hospital, and was told his wife and daughter were there.

He sensed that something was amiss and sent a voice message to Shiela telling her to remove her WhatsApp profile picture that depicted the two of them in a sex act.

He also told her to cut all communications and that he would be deleting all communications between them, including photos and videos of the sexual abuse inflicted on his daughter.

He also warned that if he did not text her by 7pm, "something is up".

The man was arrested at the hospital that day.

Shiela did not manage to delete her communications with the man before being arrested the next day.

The prosecution said the man was uncooperative during investigations, according to CNA.

He denied any wrongdoing and did not divulge the passwords to his devices.

Police later uncovered 20 videos and 43 photos from Shiela's phone recorded over two days, showing the man sexually abusing his daughter.

When confronted with the evidence, the man then claimed to not recall any of it, giving a multitude of reasons such as undiagnosed Alzheimer's disease and an alcoholic blackout.

After a forensic psychiatric evaluation, however, he was found to have intact abilities for intellectual functioning, executive functioning and working memory.

Victim left traumatised

The incident left the victim heartbroken and angry, and she is said to be suffering from frequent insomnia and nightmares, as well as suicidal tendencies.

She became afraid of men and has difficulty trusting others.

In her victim impact statement, she said she never imagined the person she "trusted the most in the world" would lie to her and make her feel like she "no longer belonged in the world".
