Two men were caught on camera throwing a flurry of punches along the Causeway.

In total, about 40 punches were thrown in roughly 16 seconds, which was the length of the footage.

A short clip of the bust-up, which occurred on Sep. 28 at about 3pm, was shared on social media.

The incident was believed to have been sparked by a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) cutting off or blocking the way of a bus along the Causeway.

Traffic was apparently heavy at the time.

The fight

Two men, one in black and another in white, could be seen engaged in an exchange of fists in the space in between a car and a bus beside the dedicated bus lane at the Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) Customs, Immigration and Quarantine complex.

The car reportedly drove into the bus lane, which made it unpassable.

The bus driver apparently confronted the car driver.

"A fight ensued at the scene and both drivers sustained minor injuries," Malaysia police told The Star.

Both the 28-year-old driver and the 43-year-old bus driver, who are Malaysians, later filed police reports.

As seen in the video, even as a flurry of punches were still being thrown, a bald man with a backpack stepped in to intervene.

China Press reported that the case was being investigated, according to 8 World News.

The bus company involved did not respond to media queries.

Reactions

Commenters who reacted to the video said they thought the video was sped up as the flurry of punches appeared to have been thrown in quick succession.

It was only when the bald man appeared that they realised that the video was in real-time.
