More low-cost holiday options are coming with Scoot launching flights to three new destinations: Chiang Rai in Thailand, and Okinawa and Tokyo (Haneda Airport) in Japan.

The flights will commence progressively from December 2025:

  • Okinawa: three flights weekly from Dec. 15, 2025
  • Chiang Rai: five flights weekly from Jan. 1, 2026
  • Tokyo (Haneda): daily flights from Mar. 1, 2026

These flights are now available for booking via Scoot's website and mobile app, and progressively on other channels.

One-way economy class fares start from S$128 to Chiang Rai, S$190 to Okinawa, and S$190 to Tokyo (Haneda), inclusive of taxes.

The addition of Okinawa was previously announced by Scoot in June 2025, shortly after fellow budget airline Jetstar Asia, which had served the route exclusively, announced it would cease operations.

With this expansion of its network, Scoot will operate to a total of 76 destinations, including Singapore, across 18 countries and territories.

Increased flight frequencies

Scoot will also be flying more frequently to various destinations to meet anticipated demand during the upcoming holiday periods.

It will increase services to Tokyo (Narita) via Taipei from October 2025, and to Ipoh from November 2025.

By December, weekly flights to Chiang Mai will double, while those to Taipei and Sapporo (via Taipei) will also go up.

Flights to Jeju and Vienna will also increase from January 2026 and March 2026, respectively.
