Pet dog refuses to eat or drink 2 days after owner, 22, falls to death in M'sia after allegedly getting bullied

The student was reportedly bullied by three classmates.

The pet dog of a 22-year-old university student fell to her death from an apartment in Bandar Seri Kembangan, Kuala Lumpur was reportedly shedding tears during her funeral.

According to China Press, the deceased, identified as He Enni (transliteration), was allegedly subjected to verbal bullying and isolation, as well as being scolded for her homework by three female classmates for two years.

The deceased was attending Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology.

Her family brought her pet dog along to her funeral held on Aug. 23.

The dog had reportedly not eaten or drunk anything for two days following her death, Sin Chew Daily reported.

Family wiped dog's tears away

According to Sin Chew, the dog was seen shedding tears during the funeral, surprising the family members.

They frequently wiped away the dog’s tears throughout the ceremony, a family friend told Sin Chew.

The friend also said that the three friends accused of bullying the woman had requested to attend the funeral and apologise but the family refused.

"I heard they were coming, but the family members said that things had come to this point and they didn't want them to appear at the funeral, so they wouldn't let them come."

Local police confirmed that they have received a report from the deceased’s mother over the bullying.

Police investigations are ongoing.
