Motorcycle & SMRT bus collide in Bukit Panjang, man, 54, taken to hospital
Police are investigating.
An SMRT bus collided with a motorcycle in Bukit Panjang, resulting in one person being conveyed to the hospital.
In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to a road accident at the junction of Bukit Panjang Road and Jelebu Road at 2:20pm on Aug. 15.
According to the Singapore Police Force, a 54-year-old male motorcyclist was conveyed conscious to the hospital.
A 54-year-old female bus driver is assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Shattered windscreen
In photos shared on Facebook, the SMRT bus sustained damage to the front, with a large dent in its front bumper.
The bus's windscreen was also shattered.
The motorcycle lay on its side in front of the bus, surrounded by debris.
