Australian yoghurt Yo-Chi opens at Orchard Central, 1st person in queue at 3:15am

Popular Australian yoghurt brand Yo-Chi opened its first Singapore outlet on Aug. 15.

More than 100 people were seen in the queue at Orchard Central on opening day.

Mothership understands that while doors officially opened at 11am, some had turned up as early as 3:15am to grab a spot in the queue.

Known for its selection of self-serve yoghurt and acai, the brand first launched in Melbourne in 2012.
Today, it has over 56 stores across Australia.
The Singapore opening will mark its first international outlet.

Diners can choose from a plethora of toppings to add to their yoghurt.

Highlights include chocolate chip cookie dough, mini mochi, and fresh strawberries.
According to a press release, the yoghurts are made with fresh Australian milk.
Similar to its Australian counterpart, the yoghurt bowls are charged based on weight at S$3.50 per 100g.
The Orchard Central outlet will also be the first in Singapore to offer a self-serve acai experience, with a selection of organic acai and fresh fruits.
