Johor seizes 4 S'pore registered cars, driven by S'poreans, for illegal ride-hailing

The Road Transport Department (JPJ) of Malaysia detained and confiscated four vehicles, registered in Singapore, and driven by Singapore citizens for offering ride hailing services without a valid permit.
According to the Malay Mail, a Toyota Alphard, a Toyota Vellfire, a Toyota Hiace and a Honda Spada were confiscated.
They were detected ferrying passengers from Singapore and other countries entering Malaysia "via the Singapore route for tourism purposes".
The vehicles were detained and seized under Section 80 of Malaysia's Land Public Transport Act 2010.
