Legoland Malaysia unveiled a revamped Miniland Singapore on Aug. 1, offering visitors a fresh look at the island’s iconic landmarks recreated in intricate Lego detail.

The attraction includes 16 new models built from over 1.5 million Lego bricks.

Customers can expect to see iconic landmarks such as Gardens by the Bay, Cloud Forest, Marina Bay Sands, and the Merlion Fountain in all their miniature glory.

For SG60

According to Malay Mail, the attraction was reimagined in celebration of Singapore’s 60th anniversary.

A video on Legoland Malaysia's Facebook and Instagram showed Marina Bay Sands and the ArtScience Museum lit up in vibrant colours, with a miniature version of MBS’s Light and Water Show featuring water jets that mimic the real spectacle.

A miniature red Singapore tour bus can also be seen driving around the city, complete with tiny tourists seated inside.

The opening event was officiated by Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs vice-consul Lim En Wei and Johor Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry (MOTAC) director Nurazlin Abu Talib.

Miniland Singapore was first introduced in 2012, featuring landmarks such as The Fullerton Hotel, Merlion Park, Riverside Point, and the Singapore Flyer.

Legoland Malaysia is located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, and is approximately an hour car ride away from Singapore.
