Golden Village has taken over the Cineleisure space on Aug. 4 vacated by The Projector.
The indie cinema operator announced its exit from Orchard on Aug. 1, days after it revealed that it will resume screenings at Golden Mile Tower.
Karen Tan, the founder of The Projector told CNA Lifestyle that it can "return home" now that the en bloc sale is no longer moving forward.
The two companies previously partnered in December 2023 at Cineleisure for premieres and film screenings.
To mark the occasion and as part of National Day celebrations, GV is offering movie tickets priced at S$6, as well as free drinks from Aug. 7 to 20 as part of its promotions.
The press release did not provide details, but those interested can visit www.gv.com.sg over the next three weeks.
The cinema chain added: "The return to Cineleisure complements Golden Village's broader strategy of bringing community-oriented cinema experiences to central, high-traffic locations."
In addition to usual movie screenings, GV Cineleisure will also be available for venue hire, including corporate bookings and private functions.
GV has 16 multiplexes in Singapore with 122 screens.
