S'porean seniors dressed as butterflies selling handmade flowers at Raffles Xchange pop-up

Looking to brighten someone's day while supporting a meaningful cause?
Elderly care centre Carer is running a pop-up booth featuring a selection of handcrafted flowers.

Located at the basement level of Raffles Xchange, the pop-up will run from now till Aug. 1.
According to the organisation, each flower is personally handmade by the seniors from the centre.

Prices range from S$6 to S$10, while stocks last.
More than just flowers
The initiative supports active aging, giving seniors a platform to stay engaged, creative, and connected with the community.
Proceeds from each flower sold go toward funding Carers’ programmes that empower elderly individuals through meaningful, hands-on activities.
To mark the booth's opening, the seniors even donned fairy wings - playfully imitating butterflies drawn to the handcrafted blooms on display.
