Woman, 83, allegedly crashes car into motorcyclist & bollards outside Clementi coffee shop
A woman, 26, who was riding the motorcycle, was conveyed conscious to hospital.
An 83-year-old woman allegedly crashed into a motorcyclist and then into bollards outside a coffee shop in Clementi after losing control of her car.
The incident on Jul. 28 occurred at about 6:35pm at Block 449 Clementi Avenue 3, next to a zebra crossing under a block of flats.
The bonnet and right side of the car were badly dented, and the licence plate was dislodged, Shin Min Daily News reported.
Bollards protected diners
The bollards apparently prevented the car from crashing into diners seated outside the coffee shop.

A coffee shop employee said the driver looked frightened following the crash and kept apologising to the rider lying on the ground.
Driver apparently a grandmother
Two people, believed to be family members of the woman who was driving, rushed to the scene.
One of them said the driver was their grandmother, according to Shin Min.
Nurses nearby went to help
A female motorcyclist was seen lying on the ground, the Chinese media reported, adding that she appeared to have injured her arm, according to an eyewitness.
The delivery rider was able to speak in the aftermath of the incident.

Two nurses working at a nearby clinic provided assistance at the scene.
Three people in car
Besides the elderly woman in the driver's seat, the car had an elderly man and another woman as occupants.
Another car apparently hit from behind
The car was believed to have collided with the motorcycle, which resulted in the rider crashing onto the sidewalk.
A black car on the opposite side of the road was also believed to have been struck from behind, Shin Min reported.
Police investigating
The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force said they received a call for assistance at about 6:35pm at Block 449 Clementi Avenue 3.
A 26-year-old woman was conveyed conscious to the National University Hospital.
An 83-year-old woman is currently assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
