The National Day Parade (NDP) fireworks are one of the biggest highlights every Aug. 9 — and this year’s show at the Padang is expected to light up the Marina Bay skyline once again.

If you're looking to level up your NDP viewing experience, here are some prime spots where you can enjoy the fireworks.

1) The Promontory @ Marina Bay

The Promontory at Marina Bay is a popular fireworks viewing spot - and for good reason.

Located against the backdrop of Marina Bay Sands and the ArtScience Museum, members of the public can enjoy the fireworks with panoramic views.

Do come early to secure a spot as it can get crowded quickly.

2) Marina Barrage

Marina Barrage is also another hot spot for families to catch the fireworks with its wide open spaces and picnic-friendly lawn.

3) Merlion Park

Merlion Park is another classic go-to spot for catching the fireworks, offering an unobstructed view of the Marina Bay skyline with Singapore's iconic symbol.

Alternatively, you can catch the fireworks from a higher viewing point at High Street Centre's car park.

Located near both Funan Mall and Raffles City, this underrated spot tends to be considerably less crowded than those at Marina Bay.

Set in a revolving restaurant with sweeping 360-degree views of Marina Bay, diners can indulge in an assortment of Chinese cuisine while enjoying the show.

13. Ce La Vi

Joining the list of fancy firework spots is Ce La Vi.

Perched on top of Marina Bay Sands, the fine-dining restaurant offers panoramic views of fireworks against the city skyline.

According to a press release, the restaurant recently renovated its space in June and can now accommodate up to 151 pax.
