DJ Glenn Ong says he was 'unhappily married' to Jean Danker in post about losing weight from 84kg to 73kg

Radio DJ Glenn Ong, 54, posted an update on his body transformation — and added a dig at his previous marriage to fellow radio DJ Jean Danker, 46.

The two were married for eight years before announcing their split on social media on Dec. 24, 2024.

"Always choose happy if you can."

In an Instagram post on Jun. 18, Ong wrote: "From an unhealthy 84kg when I was unhappily married to a crazy happy 73kg now!"

He added in all caps, "Always choose happy if you can."

Ong said he managed to do so after training two to three times weekly for two years.

The radio personality said his weight loss target is 70kg, but he'll settle for 72 to 73kg for now.

He added that the last time he was in this shape was when he was 21, encouraging his fans that if he can do it, so can they.

Ong's post appeared more than a week after his ex-wife talked about life after getting divorced.

Previous marriages

Ong was previously married to Kate Reyes and Jamie Yeo, who were also radio DJs.

Danker hosts Cartunes on weekdays from 5pm to 8pm on Class 95.

Ong hosts The Big Show on weekday mornings on Kiss92.

He was formerly also a Class 95 host.
