Man, 50, who got caught naked in car in Sengkang with another man's wife, claims they didn't have sex & woman initiated affair
He claimed he and the woman were intimate but did not do anything sexual and were chatting.

While getting intimate with his lover in a car, a Singaporean man was caught by the woman's husband.
He attempted to drive off as the other man clung onto the car bonnet, causing him to fall and sustain injuries.
Chia Hiok Seah, 50, testified on Jul. 4 about the sordid encounter at Block 278 Compassvale Bow at about 2am that led to his arrest, according to CNA.
He was charged with committing a rash act endangering human life and for public nudity, but pleaded not guilty.
Intimate acts
The incident took place on Jun. 29, 2024 at a multi-storey car park in Sengkang.
The couple had gone for dinner with friends, before driving to a multi-storey car park near her home for "some intimacy acts".
Chia admitted that they had been nude, but they did not do anything sexual as the woman — Shunyi — was menstruating that day.
They had been "chatting inside the car", Chia said.
While "chatting", he was in the driver's seat, while Shunyi leaned against the dashboard, facing him.
She then spotted some lights, which Chia merely believed to be from another vehicle.
Banging, screaming
Chia did not think much of the lights, until a "banging sound" began.
Shunyi quickly ducked into the passenger seat and began screaming, he told the court.
She asked him to "quickly please protect" her and "quickly get out of this place".
"Then that time, I was still in a shocked state, whereby — what's happening? Because in my mind, it never crossed my mind it's Gordon in the first place," he said.
Gordon is Shunyi's husband. Charge sheets identified him as Goh Yong Sern.
He eventually recognised the man, who was banging hard and trying to break into the car.
He was red-faced and looked angry enough to "[try] to kill someone".
"I was very concerned... Is my car locked? Or is he able to smash into window and do all the killing to us? I was very panicked, and the moment in my mind, Shunyi ask me to protect her, want to get out of this place."
Believing that Goh would do something to harm him and his lover, Chia made to leave.
"I knew I cannot face this man," he explained.
Felt fearful
As he was about to leave, Goh "jumped onto [his] bonnet".
"You can imagine, his face is so anger, unlike what you see on the video clip. He was smashing hard on the windscreen with his body, trying to break open."
Chia added that he felt "so afraid at the time", and feared that Goh would break through the windscreen and attack them.
He then reversed his car, in hopes that Goh would get off the car, Shin Min Daily News reported.
At the time, Goh was banging on the windscreen with one fist, and apparently trying to pull out his wiper.
Chia claimed he eventually stopped the car as he realised that Goh would not get off, and might end up "more injured" if he continued to drive.
Goh then fell off.
Throughout the encounter, Shunyi screamed and asked him to "please don't hurt him", Chia recalled.
"And I said yes, I will try not to."
Shunyi is expected to testify as well.
Not her first affair
It was Shunyi who initiated the love affair, Chia claimed.
He testified that he was a construction project manager, married with two children, and met the woman at work in 2018.
In 2019, Shunyi allegedly sent him a text, saying that she wanted to be more than friends.
She also apparently wanted to vent about her broken marriage.
While confused at first, Chia eventually agreed. They had been romantically involved ever since.
As they were both married, the arrangement meant they were unable to devote too much time to each other, Chia said.
He added that it was not her first affair.
"Actually this whole thing is actually [a] very [unfortunate] incident. It's something that actually I have never [thought] I will be landed in. With my character and personality, I'm not someone who likes to confront or likes to intentionally hurt someone," he told the court.
Back to court
Previously, Lianhe Zaobao reported about Goh's testimony before the court on Jul. 1.
Goh said he knew Chia before the incident, as Chia was a friend of his wife and often chatted with her.
On the day of the encounter, he could not contact his wife and felt worried.
He decided to go downstairs to look for her and saw Chia's car in the parking lot.
Goh said he recognised the car's licence plate number, as he'd driven Shunyi home before.
Suspicious, he began to record a video as evidence, but realised that the occupants inside were naked.
He tried to open the car door but failed, and when he demanded they get out, they refused.
When he noticed that Chia was trying to drive away, he climbed onto the car's hood to stop them.
But he later fell off, and suffered multiple abrasions, a laceration to the face, and a scratched chest.
