Safe distance was maintained: MINDEF responds to online footage of 2 S'pore aircraft coming close at Paya Lebar Air Base
All's good.
Two aircraft over the Paya Lebar Air Base appeared to be in close proximity on the evening of May 13.
The Ministry of Defence of Singapore (MINDEF) spokesperson told Mothership that the flight operations were safely conducted and both aircraft had maintained a safe distance from each other.
A user on Xiaohongshu posted a video of the two planes in action, where one plane can be seen cutting close to the other before flying straight ahead.

The user claimed that the two aircraft had a route conflict during the flight training, which was debunked by MINDEF.
