Ramen Santouka closes sole S'pore outlet at Clarke Quay after 17 years due to 'various circumstances'
Another one bites the dust.

Ramen Santouka has closed its sole Singapore outlet in Clarke Quay after 17 years.
It is closed for good on May 10, according to the outlet's website and social media.
The ramen restaurant, which was a permanent fixture at the Central mall in Clarke Quay since 2008, was known for its flagship shio ramen.
The outlet had celebrated its 17th anniversary in Singapore earlier in March.
Closure due to 'various circumstances'
In the Instagram notice, the outlet apologised for the sudden announcement, saying it was closing "due to various circumstances".
"Once again, thank you for your patronage from 2008 until now. We look forward to seeing you in Singapore in the near future," wrote the outlet, addressing its customers.
Ramen Santouka originated in Asahikawa city in Hokkaido, Japan.
It currently has 12 outlets in Japan and 42 international outlets in countries like the U.S., Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.
