PAP Tampines GRC team will walk the ground & address residents' concerns: Masagos after tough 4-way fight
They won with with 52.02 per cent of the votes.
The People's Action Party (PAP) Tampines GRC team held their thank you tour on Sunday (May 4) morning.
Tampines GRC, which saw a four-cornered fight, was the most hotly-contested constituency this election.
The PAP team won Tampines GRC with 52.02 per cent of the votes, while Workers' Party (WP), National Solidarity Party (NSP), and People's Power Party (PPP) took home 47.37 per cent, 0.18 per cent, and 0.43 per cent of the votes, respectively.

Meeting residents to thank them for their support
Minister Masagos Zulkifli, Baey Yam Keng, Koh Poh Koon, David Neo and Charlene Chen arrived at Shop @ West in Tampines to meet and thank residents for their support.

"We would like to thank all the residents of Tampines who have voted us in and enabled us to come back," Masagos said at a media doorstop.
"I've been here for 19 years," Masagos said emotionally.
He also shares that he wants to continue building Tampines into a community where people care for one another, where everyone feels that they belong— "a model town", he dubbed it.
"Let's work together as one united Tampines and also as one united Singapore."
He added that the Tampines GRC team will be "[going] back to the ground" to address residents' needs and concerns.

Read to serve all residents
"I'm very humbled by the opportunity to serve," said newly-minted MP Charlene Chen.
Commenting on the constituency's four-corner fight, Chen said that the election was a "tough fight, but we are united as a team, and we fought together".
"We know there were some residents who did not vote for us, but regardless, we want to serve all residents of Tampines,"Chen added.
"Our team is ready to hear whatever feedback, and we are ready to do the real work."
She also added that the team is "very, very honoured for this opportunity" to serve the residents in Tampines.
Former Chief of Army David Neo also expressed his gratitude to all the residents of Tampines and highlighted his desire to champion young families.
