Aftermath caught on camera

The aftermath of the collision was caught on camera by a driver, surnamed Hu (transliteration), who passed by the scene at around 5am on Wednesday, reported Shin Min Daily News.

As seen in a video by Hu, a black car had stopped diagonally in the middle lane of the road.

The police had cordoned off three lanes, and two traffic police officers were seen directing traffic at the scene.

Hu told Shin Min that he saw five police vehicles and two traffic police motorcycles.

Initially, he thought the police were conducting spot checks, and he only found out about the collision later on.

"The car involved was parked in the middle of the road, but its driver was nowhere in sight. I also did not see an ambulance on site," recounted Hu.
