Bill Gates recently announced that the Gates Foundation will be setting up an office in Singapore.
He is also attending the Philanthropy Asia Summit in Singapore, where he had a dialogue with President Tharman.
Gates also had a meeting with Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
In it, they had a "wide-ranging conversation" on topics such as clean energy and vaccine development.In a social media post, PM Wong said Singapore looks forward to working closely with the foundation to advance innovation and improve lives.
Gates also met with Senior Ministers Lee Hsien Loong and Teo Chee Hean.
