Original owners of Jurong's iconic Chicken Supremo Western Stall retiring after 34 years
A young Malay Muslim hawker will take over the business from June.

The beloved Chicken Supremo Western Stall at Jurong will be seeing a change in ownership this coming June.
There had been some concern that the stall might be closing due to the original owners planning to retire soon.
The stall clarified in a Facebook post on May 11 that it will not be closing, but instead will continue its operations under a new owner, starting in June.
The original owners plan to retire after 34 years, and will hand their business over to a young Malay Muslim hawker.
The stall sought its customers' patience and understanding during the transition period, saying the team was truly overwhelmed by the support they were given.
"Your continued patronage means the world to us, and we look forward to serving you the same Chicken Supremo goodness you’ve come to love," the stall said.
The stall, which has been in operation since 1991, is known for its chicken chop, spring chicken, and cheese fries, amongst many other favourites by customers.
