JJ Lin accused of soliciting sexual service from an attached woman, his agency refutes allegations
The accuser had since deleted all their allegations.

During the early hours of May 6, a Threads user accused Singaporean Mandopop singer JJ Lin of "soliciting sexual services through a designated third-party" and "having an inappropriate relationship with the user's ex-girlfriend while they were still in a relationship".
The Threads user further claimed that they had video footage proving the alleged relationship between Lin and their ex-girlfriend, and the user "is not scared of potential lawsuits against them".
However, as of May 6 afternoon, the user had deleted all their Threads posts, and their account had become inaccessible, casting doubts on the veracity of their claims, reported Taiwanese news outlet TVBS.
Many questioned user's claims
According to screenshots of the now-deleted Threads post, the user, who went by the username "luowen0618," made their accusations in traditional Chinese.
When other Threads users questioned why luowen0618 published their accusations under a temporary account with no profile photo, luowen0618 said that they did not want their family members, who were also on Instagram, to know about what had happened.
Checks by media outlets in Taiwan also found that luowen0618's account was created recently, and the Instagram account associated with the Threads account was set to private.
In some of the posts, luowen0618 tagged Lin's account, threatening that they would release the video allegedly involving Lin and their ex-girlfriend if Lin did not come forward and address the accusations.
After luowen0618's accusations made headlines in Taiwan, the Threads user published another post backtracking on his threat.
According to luowen0618, they would not be releasing the video after "reaching a seven-figure-sum settlement with Lin and his agency".
JJ Lin's agency statement
In response to queries from Taiwanese media Next Apple, JJ Lin's agency said "it is easy for anyone to make posts in the age of digital and personal media".
"We have no way of finding out the motives of individual posters and can only continue focusing on bringing better works and performances to the fans," read the statement.
Lin will be performing several concerts in May and June 2025 as part of his "JJ2o Final Lap World Tour".
His agency also asked those who possess evidence of illegal activities to lodge a report with the relevant authorities.
"If not, we sincerely appeal to media friends not to believe or spread such rumours. Let's work together to maintain a civilised and clean online environment," added the agency.
According to TVBS, Lin's agency also refuted luowen0618's claim that a settlement was reached, calling it "complete nonsense".
These allegations and response by Lin's representative was picked up by Singapore Chinese media, Lianhe Zaobao and 8world.
