The People’s Action Party (PAP) won the newly-formed Tampines Changkat SMC with 56.17 per cent of votes.
PAP won 12,441 of the votes, while the Workers' Party (WP) lost with 43.83 per cent or 9,707 of the votes.
A total of 224 out of 22,372 votes were rejected.
The PAP candidate for Tampines Changkat SMC is Desmond Choo, while the WP's candidate is Kenneth Foo.
