WP's Fadli Fawzi & Kenneth Tiong to take over Kaki Bukit & Serangoon divisions of Aljunied GRC

Following the Workers' Party (WP) win of Aljunied GRC, WP secretary-general Pritam Singh announced the WP Members of Parliament (MPs) elect for Aljunied GRC and the divisions they will serve.

In a Facebook post on May 5, Singh shared he will continue to serve the Eunos division, while party chairwoman Sylvia Lim will be in charge of the Paya Lebar division.

Gerald Giam will continue to serve the Bedok Reservoir-Punggol division.

Kenneth Tiong will serve the Serangoon division, where ex-WP MP Leon Perera served from 2020 to 2023.

Perera resigned from the WP in 2023 after news emerged of a past extramarital affair with ex-WP member Nicole Seah, who also resigned from the party.

Fadli Fawzi will take over the Kaki Bukit division, which was Faisal Manap's division before he was moved to helm the WP's Tampines team for the GE2025.

It was the first time WP contested Tampines GRC, but they lost to the PAP team headed by Minister Masagos Zulkifli.

PAP received 71,423 votes while WP had 65,044 votes.

Meet the People sessions are back

With the end of GE2025 comes the return of Meet the People sessions (MPS)

Tiong announced on May 5 that the MPS will resume in Serangoon at Block 146 Serangoon North Avenue 1 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Singh also announced the resumption of his MPS for the Eunos division, with the first session on May 5 at Blk 615 Bedok Reservoir Road from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
