Cambodian student, 15, raped & brutally strangled to death in school toilet

A 15-year-old female student in Phnom Penh was drugged, raped, and brutally murdered. Her body was found in a primary school toilet on May 21.
The police has apprehended three suspects for suspicion of rape and murder.
According to local media, the three suspects are aged between 15 and 18.
According to Sin Chew, one of the three suspects, the 18-year-old, was the victim's neighbour, and knew the victim.
The incident took place at a primary school, in an area where the victim lived.
The incident was reportedly premeditated, with the suspects allegedly lacing a beverage with sedatives, and tricking the girl into drinking it.
Sin Chew reported that the three suspects then took turns sexually assaulting her in the school restroom, strangled her to death, and stole her personal belongings, including a necklace she was wearing.
A primary school teacher found the body of the girl the next morning.
According to the Phnom Penh Post, the police are "preparing a case for submission to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court".
