Workers' Party's 'Team Sengkang' makes mosque visit with potential 4th member, Abdul Muhaimin

The Workers' Party (WP) has been mum about potential new faces for their upcoming election run.

However, one of the more prominently featured potential new faces has been found in Sengkang.

One candidate from the Malay community

The WP Sengkang team consisting of He Ting Ru, Jamus Lim and Louis Chua, would need one more member to replace Raeesah Khan for the next election.

According to the Elections Department (ELD), Sengkang GRC will need at least one of its candidates to be from the Malay community.

Hari Raya sighting

On Mar. 31, Sengkang MP Jamus Lim put up a social media post marking the end of Ramadan.

Lim said the Sengkang team had a customary greeting of the faithful to mark the beginning of Hari Raya Puasa or Eid al-Fitr.

One of the purported team members in the photos is Abdul Muhaimin Abdul Malik.

The senior property manager with Aljunied-Hougang Town Council has been spotted on many walkabouts with Sengkang GRC MPs.

According to The Straits Times, he has been working for the town council since 2015.

Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh posted a photo on Mar. 8, which included a shot of the three current Sengkang MPs with Muhaimin, referring to them as "Team Sengkang".
